The seven financing partners
In Line Dentistry works with seven financing partners, all on approved credit. Some of the names are healthcare lenders; others are pay-over-time brands many people already use when shopping online.
- CareCredit. The most widely used healthcare credit line, and In Line Dentistry is a listed CareCredit practice.
- Affirm. A pay-over-time name many patients already know from shopping online.
- Klarna. Another familiar pay-over-time brand.
- Afterpay. A familiar way to pay in installments.
- Sunbit. Fast approvals designed for everyday dental visits.
- LendingClub. Installment plans for treatment you have planned.
- Proceed Finance. Plans built for larger treatment like implants.
For every partner except CareCredit, ask the office to start an application. The financing page has all seven in one place.
How to choose between them
There is no single right partner, and the practice does not set any lender's terms. A few practical questions narrow it down:
- Do you already use one? If you already have a CareCredit account, or you use Affirm, Klarna or Afterpay when you shop, the application will feel familiar.
- How large is the treatment? Sunbit is designed around everyday dental visits, LendingClub offers installment plans for treatment you have planned, and Proceed Finance is built for larger treatment like implants.
- What does the lender offer you? Each lender shows its terms before you accept. Read them, compare them, and choose the one that suits you.
- How does it check credit? Whether an application uses a soft or a hard credit check depends on the lender, so ask first if that matters to you.
The front desk walks you through whichever fits, usually while you are still at the office, and decisions usually come back in minutes.
Start with the exact price
Financing is only as clear as the number behind it. At In Line, your exam ends with an itemized written price: the amount you would actually finance, not a rough figure. Some fees are published, so you can see them before you book:
| Treatment | What it includes | Total |
|---|---|---|
| Dental implant | Implant, abutment and crown, per implant, for candidates confirmed at a free consultation. | $1,990 |
| Four porcelain veneers | Four teeth at the 4–6 tooth rate of $1,299 each. | $5,196 |
The implant price applies when Dr. Chon's exam and 3D scan confirm you're a candidate; if your case needs anything more, you get an itemized written price at your free consultation before anything begins. The guides to implant cost and veneer pricing explain each in full. Other treatment is priced in writing at your exam, and every published price is on the pricing page.
Larger cases start with a consultation
For a full arch, implant-retained dentures or dentures, Dr. Chon examines you first, explains the options, and tells you plainly whether your case is treated here or by a specialist he refers you to. If it is treated here, you get an itemized written price before anything starts, and that is the number you would finance. The full-arch and dentures page explains the consultation, and the dental implants page covers single teeth.
Financing alongside insurance and membership
Financing is one of three ways to make care affordable, and they work together. In Line is in-network with eight major PPO carriers (listed on the insurance page), and other PPO plans are welcome out-of-network: you pay the practice, In Line files your claim the same day, and your insurer reimburses you, with an estimate beforehand so you can see your share before you decide what to finance. The insurance page explains the process.
The In Line Member plan is a discount plan, not insurance: Essential is $449 a year and Complete is $599 a year, and holding one does not rule out a PPO. See the membership page for what each includes.
New to the practice? The first visit is $95 flat, or $0 with an active PPO plan, and it ends with your plan and your price in writing. The new patients page has the details.
