Colour that won't shift
Staining from tetracycline, old restorations, or years of coffee that whitening cannot move.
Thin porcelain shells bonded to the front of your teeth, changing colour, shape and alignment at once — designed to your face by Dr. James Chon, DMD in Diamond Bar.
Signature from $799 · hand-layered from $1,490
A veneer covers the front surface of a tooth; a crown wraps the whole thing. That difference matters, because a veneer asks far less of the tooth underneath. It is the treatment for teeth that are structurally sound but the wrong colour, chipped at the edge, slightly crooked, or spaced in a way you have never liked in photographs.
Staining from tetracycline, old restorations, or years of coffee that whitening cannot move.
Front teeth that have chipped or worn flat, leaving the smile looking shorter than it used to.
Spaces between the front teeth closed without braces or aligners, in a matter of weeks.
Mild rotation or overlap corrected cosmetically — where the bite itself is sound.
Both are porcelain and both are bonded the same way. The difference is how the porcelain is made, and how far the finish is tuned — which is a real choice with a real price difference, not an upsell.
Milled from a solid porcelain block to a digital design. Consistent, strong, and the more economical route.
Built up in thin layers by a ceramist, for finer control of translucency and the variation real enamel has.
Dr. Chon looks at how your smile sits in your face, not just at the teeth, and tells you whether veneers are the right answer at all.
Shape, length and shade are planned before any tooth is touched — so you are agreeing to a result, not hoping for one.
The veneers are bonded and the bite checked. You leave with the finished smile, and a plan for keeping it.
Signature veneers start at $799 per tooth and hand-layered at $1,490 per tooth. A 4-veneer Mini Makeover starts at $5,196 — roughly $87 a month over 60 months on approved credit. How many teeth your own case needs is what the consultation settles, and your complete number is confirmed in writing before anything begins.

Veneer pricing is published rather than quoted behind a phone call. Signature machine-milled porcelain starts at $799 per tooth, and premium hand-layered feldspathic porcelain starts at $1,490 per tooth. A 4-veneer Mini Makeover starts at $5,196 — about $87 a month with 60-month financing on approved credit. Your own number is confirmed in writing at the free consultation, once Dr. Chon has seen how many teeth are actually involved.
Signature veneers are milled from a solid porcelain block to a digital design — consistent, strong, and the more economical of the two. Hand-layered feldspathic veneers are built up in thin layers by a ceramist, which allows finer control of translucency and the subtle variation real enamel has. Both are porcelain and both are bonded the same way; the difference is how far the finish is tuned, and what that costs.
Placing a veneer usually means removing a thin layer of enamel so the porcelain sits flush rather than bulking the tooth out. That reshaping does not grow back, which is why it is worth being certain before starting — and why the consultation exists. For smaller corrections, bonding or whitening may get you where you want without altering the tooth at all, and Dr. Chon will tell you when that is the case.
It depends on how far your smile shows when you talk and laugh. Some cases are a single tooth matched to its neighbours; more often it is the four to eight front teeth treated together so colour and proportion stay even. Dr. Chon maps this at the consultation — you see the plan and the number before committing to anything.
Well-made porcelain veneers routinely last many years, and they hold their colour far better than bonding, which can pick up stain over time. What shortens their life is the same thing that shortens a natural tooth's: grinding, biting hard objects, and skipping maintenance. If you grind at night, say so — a guard is part of protecting the work.
Whitening changes colour only, and works when the teeth are otherwise well shaped. Bonding adds tooth-coloured resin to repair a chip or close a small gap in one visit — economical, but it can stain. Veneers change colour, shape, and alignment together and hold their finish longest. Most smiles need one of the three, not all of them, and the free cosmetic consultation is where that gets decided.
Dr. Chon sees patients on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 AM to 6 PM. The office answers calls and handles scheduling on the other weekdays, so book your consultation for a Tuesday or Thursday.
