Dr. Chon sees patients Tuesday and Thursday, 90 minutes per visit, and new patients usually get a same-week dental appointment in Diamond Bar. Pick a time and we'll text you to confirm it. Bringing the family? After the first request, tap "Request for another person" and pick the next time.
Office open Mon, Wed and Fri 8–6, Tue 9–6, Thu 10–7 and Sat 8–1 for scheduling, billing and questions. Checking your insurance benefits is free.

Will my PPO plan cover the whole first visit, or will something be owed?
The complete first visit is $95 flat, or $0 out of pocket with an active PPO plan that pays preventive care at 100%, as most PPO plans do. Our team runs your benefits before you arrive, and if your plan leaves any amount owed you hear the number from us first, never at checkout.
What if Dr. Chon finds I need a deep cleaning?
The first visit includes a routine cleaning above the gumline. If Dr. Chon finds gum disease, you may need a deep cleaning (scaling and root planing) instead. He explains why and gives you a written price before anything is done, and many PPO plans cover part of it.
How do I get the Pokémon pack?
Request and attend your new-patient visit between October 1 and December 31, 2026. Every new patient, kids included, gets one 30th Celebration booster pack at the end of the visit, while supplies last. Contents are random and no particular card is promised.
How does the Elite Trainer Box drawing work?
Every new-patient visit in October, November and December is an entry, in a parent's name for patients under 18, and anyone 18 or older can enter free on this page with no visit needed. One entry per person per month. Entries close at 11:59 pm on the last day of each month; we draw on the first business day of the next month and notify the winner by text or email.
Can the whole family come in one trip?
Yes. Dr. Chon sees patients of every age, from kids to grandparents. Request one person at a time: after the first request, tap "Request for another person" and pick the next back-to-back time. Each new patient gets their own visit and their own pack.
What if I have an HMO, or no insurance at all?
Your complete first visit is $95 flat: exam, X-rays, cleaning and a written plan. The $0 price applies only with an active PPO plan. New patients through Dec 31 still get the pack and the drawing entry.
Does it matter which insurance I have when I book?
Not for booking — pick a time and we sort the coverage before you come in. Dr. Chon is in-network with Aetna, Anthem, Cigna, Delta Dental, Guardian, Humana, MetLife and UnitedHealthcare; with other PPO plans you pay at the visit, we file your claim the same day, and your insurer reimburses you. Either way we check your benefits for free first, so you know the number — for plans that cover preventive care at 100%, the first visit works out to $0.
Can I come in this week?
Usually. Dr. Chon sees patients Tuesday and Thursday, and new patients usually get a same-week dental appointment in Diamond Bar. Pick a time on this page and we text you to confirm it, usually the same business day. Plan for 90 minutes.
Is this a limited-time new patient special?
The $95 flat visit, or $0 out of pocket with an active PPO plan, is our standing New Patient Special, not a limited-time offer. The Family Open House adds the booster pack and the monthly drawing through December 31, 2026.
