A smile makeover, in the right order

A makeover is not one treatment. It is a plan that combines the few treatments your smile actually needs, in the order that makes each one work better.

The building blocks

What a makeover can include

Whitening

Lifts the color of natural teeth. It comes before bonding or veneers, because it sets the shade everything else is matched to.

Teeth whitening

Clear aligners

Straighten crowding or close spacing. Moving teeth first can mean fewer veneers, or none.

Clear aligners

Bonding

Repairs a chip, a small gap or a worn edge in a single visit, with little change to the tooth.

Porcelain veneers

Change color, shape and length together on the teeth that show when you smile.

Why order matters

Each step sets up the next

The sequence changes the result and often the cost. Straightening before veneers can reduce how much tooth needs reshaping. Whitening before veneers means the porcelain is matched to your brightest natural shade.

1 · The consultation

Dr. Chon looks at your teeth, your bite and how your smile sits in your face, and tells you honestly which pieces you need. Sometimes the answer is less than you expected.

2 · The written plan

Every step, its order and its price are set out in writing before anything begins, and nothing is added that you have not agreed to in writing.

3 · Treatment, step by step

Foundations first, such as straightening or treating decay, then whitening, then bonding, veneers or crowns matched to the new shade.

Common questions

Questions, answered

What is a smile makeover?

A smile makeover is a treatment plan that combines cosmetic treatments such as whitening, clear aligners, bonding, veneers and crowns to change how your smile looks. At In Line Dentistry it starts with a consultation that decides which of those you actually need, and in what order.

How much does a smile makeover cost?

It depends on which treatments the plan includes. Veneers are published per tooth by case size (four veneers are $5,196) and in-office whitening is $300. Bonding, crowns and aligner treatment are priced in writing at the consultation, and your plan shows the full total before you commit.

How long does a smile makeover take?

A plan built on whitening and bonding can be finished in a few visits. One that includes clear aligners takes months, because the teeth are moved first. Your timeline is written into the plan.

Do I need veneers on every tooth?

Usually not. Many plans treat only the teeth that show when you smile, and straightening or whitening first can reduce the number of veneers needed, or remove the need for them.

Is the consultation free?

Yes. The cosmetic consultation with Dr. Chon has no charge, and you leave with a clear idea of which treatments would help and what they cost.
